High-Speed Blender


  • 1 cup cashews, soaked for 2 hours
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup strawberries
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 2 tablespoons raw agave or honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon non-alcohol vanilla extract


  1. Blend the cashews with the water until smooth
  2. Add the berries and blend until smooth
  3. Strain the mixture through a small hole strainer to remove seeds
  4. Rince your high-speed blender and  put the strained mixture back in
  5. Add the sweetener and vanilla extract
  6. Blend well
  7. Add the melted coconut oil and blend slowly until incorporated
  8. Granish with some berries and shaved coconut
  9. Enjoy!


You can use more or less water for consistency preference. Straining the smoothie is not a requirement but some people don’t like the seeds. You can substitute the vanilla extract with a little bit of scraped vanilla bean. Fresh berries can be substituted with frozen ones when not in season. Soak the cashews overnight in the refrigerator for your morning smoothie!
