Fig Tarts

This fig tart was soooo good! An no, I did not eat both of them. I didn’t even eat one at once. It is quite filling as well. These tarts come in three components: The crust to which I added nutmeg and lime zest, a walnut cream an the fresh orange and figs on the top. I have never had fig tart in my life before but I have to say that this one was really good! Oh I forgot, we brushed the top with a lavender-honey glaze. Just enough to make it really shiny and to give it a hint of lavender. I wish I had more walnut cream to put on top! It was a meal in itself. I love figs too and never knew orange and figs would taste so good together! I think I will have to make is again!
